Coach Issac Diaz

Isaac Diaz has over 12 years of coaching experience, with eight years spent in the club soccer scene. He joined Apple Valley Storm in 2019 and has been instrumental in building the club’s youth programs, helping establish 10 girls teams from the ground up. He currently coaches multiple youth teams, including Girls 2012, 2013, and 2015, and has a proven track record of developing players who succeed both on and off the field.

Isaac holds a USSF National “C” License. Over his coaching career, he has won multiple tournament championships and successfully guided teams through league promotions, taking squads from Flight 3 all the way up to NPL level. He also led teams to back-to-back State Cup finals in 2023 and 2024, finishing as finalists both years.At the high school level, Isaac has a remarkable history of program building. Isaac has also gained extensive collegiate coaching experience, which has shaped his ability to develop players at the highest levels of youth soccer. He served on the Victor Valley College men’s soccer staff and is currently coaching with the Victor Valley Women’s program.Additionally, he worked as Goalkeeper/Assistant Coach for Chapman University Women’sSoccer, competing in the highly competitive SCIAC conference, one of the premier NCAA Division III leagues in the country. These roles have given him valuable experience in developing high-level players and mentoring student-athletes on what it takes to compete at these advanced levels, further enhancing his coaching expertise and leadership.
