Player registration is required of all players participating in US Club Soccer/SoCal Soccer League. Players who are not currently registered with US Club Soccer are not allowed to participate in US Club Soccer programming, nor are they covered by US Club Soccer insurance.
A player is not considered registered/eligible until the following requirements are fulfilled:
● Proof of Birth Verification
● Fulfilled R002 requirement
● Membership Purchased by Club
Additional Requirements If player is 18 years old or turning 18 during the upcoming season:
● SafeSport Training
● Adverse Eligibility (completed by club administration)
NAVIGATING YOUR ACCOUNT
How to log in and access your account - ask your club/org registrar to add you as a family member to your player’s profile underthe club. You will need to use the same email address that the club entered as the contactemail for your player in their Gotsport profile as your username.
As a Parent - How to View Players
Add proof of birth documentation - Proof of birth documentation is reviewed/approved by US Club Soccer.
Please be sure that one of the following acceptable documents is uploaded:
- Birth certificate
- Passport
- Driver’s license
- Other document issued by the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security or U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services
Complete the US Club Soccer Form #R002 (Player Info, Medical Treatment Authorization, Liability Waiver/Release and Consent Form)
As a Parent - Completing Safesport for minors (under 18)

Complete registration by selecting the correct team. If you have any questions please reach out to your team Manager/Coach
TEAM FEES
Team Fees are the responsibility of each team and vary for each team, depending on the assigned coach(es), age, level, the amount activities, and the type of activities, leagues, tournaments, and scrimmages the team participates in.
- TEAM EXPENSE FEES: These fees include expenses such as leagues and tournaments the team participates in, special events, scrimmages, referee fees, approved coach expenses, and so on.
- TEAM COACHING FEES: These fees include a monthly stipend for the head coach.
Additional Information
LEAGUES: Each team is at a unique time and level in its development process. Therefore, each team may compete in different leagues and league levels, which varies in requirements and costs. As such, each team is responsible for the costs associated with league competition, including registration and referee fees. These costs are reflected in the individual team budgets. Storm primarily competes in SOCAL Soccer League and NPL.
FACILITY: Storm maintains responsibility for program facilities, which includes home fields for Team Training, Extra Training, and standard Fall Season home games. For those team who elect to compete in Spring Season, home games are the responsibility of the team. Special scheduling, including scrimmages outside of the normal operating season and hours, may be available at an extra cost to the individual team. Some teams, primarily higher level teams, which have special facility requirements, will be required to cover the associated costs of their respective league competition.
DISCOUNTS: A $50 Sibling Discount is available for each verifiable sibling registering within a single household. Discount codes are available via team manager and subject to verification
